An AJism

On one of Aj's regular phrases.
"AJ, how was your day?"
"Oh, it was quite nice!"
What is the guy British? I don't say, "Quite nice."
One thing I have noticed is that when asked a question about how his day was or his teacher or any thing, he is eternally optimisitc. He describes all situations as "great", "good", "awesome". I don't know if he doesn't recall the marginal or indesirable events- or he just isn't too phased by them.

  1. It's an appropriate social response, though. Or, at least, it's what I do! Ask me how I'm doing, I say "great". Maybe a few minutes later I'll actually try to reflect on how I really am, but my pat answer is always good or great.
